I would recommend both ‘singleplayer’ and ‘solo’ tags,
plus more precise ones such as ‘lyric/journaling/larp…’ or any other popular word used to designate the way of playing your game,
plus if that’s based on an existing game (Carta, wretched, leads, …)
Ideally I would love to create a useful research page (similar to the ‘big bundles research page’) based on tags and notes on The Hermits Club collection, but I’m not a dev and don’t know how to do, sorry 😁
There are now a lot of parameters but tags & categories are useful. You can search games through all big bundles, I guess it's something created by itchio dev but not sure
I've heard really good things about Thousand Year Old Vampire. I haven't tried a journaling game yet but that's the one that might push me over.
There are in fact 3000+ solo games on itchio, but authors don’t always use tags. That’s why I gather solo games for years in an itchio collection 🙂 https://itch.io/c/574927/the-hermits-club-all-solo-ttrpgs-and-larps-on-itchio
An amazing list! Thank you for listing Road to Rhune and Three Stone Stories!
What tags do you recommend?

Do you have a link to the kind of research page you're talking about?
Was talking about this website: https://randombundlegame.com/

No "Barbarian Prince"???
I will HAVE to cover that now!
