Please don't link "The Cultural Tutor", as the guy is part of that crypto-fascist movement on Twitter that holds Ancient Greece on an isolated pillar, a tradition that is greatly steeped in white nationalism: https://derukugiblog.com/2019/11/24/romancing-the-hellenes/ I'd say link his sources instead, if they're less problematic, but he doesn't have any.

More games than I will ever be able to check out myself. Thank you for this.

You are the second person I've seen recommend Swords of Meropis. I'll have to check it out. I didn't know it had a solo mode!

What an interesting issue, as usual. I can’t wait to play Koriko (among the others you mentioned).

Just a note: it seems that the Goblin Henchman’s link to the hex flower game engine might be broken (at least, for me it was)!

I still go back to Civ 2 for those all-time, world-builders. Amazing game for its time!

It's a classic. I got to meet Sid Meier in 2001 when I was doing PR for his SimGolf game (a forgotten gem). He's such a nice guy. At the time Sid was working on an idea for a prehistory game and his office was filled with toy dinosaurs. I'm sorry that game never happened. As he said "every kid loves dinosaurs!"

Smart dude. Like really, really smart. So glad you got to meet him!

Luke! Journey is awesome. It really helped me with coming up with a great location for #Dungeon23. Sometime I'll have to tell you about the Journey-inspired city of Terraton, home of peaceful bisonfolk who live in the ruins of a domed climatron.
